It all began early in life with a fascination for the music that his parents would play at home. Karl studied and performed music through high school and college before coming to North Carolina in the year 2000. After having a taste of being a “party deejay” in college, he continued to perform using both computers and turntables.

The first wedding DJ experiences were in Nags Head beginning in 2001, where Karl performed all the announcements and played music from his computer over a loaned PA. In the years after that, School Dances, Birthday Parties, and Wedding Receptions became regular performances for word-of-mouth referrals.

In 2010, Karl teamed up with George Wainwright of Coastal DJ and Video, bringing a new level of professionalism to his repertoire while also helping launch Coastal as the number-one DJ service on the Outer Banks!

Eventually, it became time to bring high standards of service and off-the-charts fun-factor together to create a versatile company of our own. We headed out west to Raleigh and set up shop starting in 2014. It was hard work getting recognized in a place where we knew no one. We beat the streets to find whatever gigs we could, and we will always be thankful for those that gave us a chance with so few reviews at the beginning. Once we were established in the central part of the state, we opened up our office in Boone, NC, which is now the focus of our growth.

There were too many venues to count in the rural areas around Raleigh, but the most breathtaking and awe-inspiring events that we have performed so far have been on mountaintops and in valleys in the areas surrounding Boone. We have mastered the art of musical entertainment and organized MC service in our hundreds of performance opportunities across the state of North Carolina.

We are very well organized, efficient, and flexible- which makes us ready to handle the last-second changes that seem to be inevitable- enabling us to always provide gracefully executed sequences for your event. Word is spreading quickly up here in the mountains… we are bringing a higher standard of service to the high country!
